SimulateFin is built and maintained by Assaf Schwartz. There is no support team and no ticketing system — messages go to one monitored inbox and are answered personally.
Expect a reply within a few working days. Data protection requests are answered within 30 days, as set out in the privacy policy.
What to write about
Corrections to the model
If a formula looks wrong, a benchmark is out of date, or an assumption does not match your experience, say so. The methodology is published precisely so it can be checked — include the inputs you used and what you expected instead, and it can be reproduced exactly.
Privacy and data requests
Requests to access or erase data, or questions about how the site handles information. The site holds no accounts and no personal data beyond a short-lived server log, so please include an approximate date and time of your visit — logs are kept for 10 days only.
Advertising and site problems
Report an advertisement that is inappropriate, broken or misplaced, or anything on the site that does not work — a chart that fails to render, a control that behaves oddly, a page that will not load. Your browser and device help a great deal.
What this site cannot do
SimulateFin is an educational modelling tool, not an advisory service. Questions asking whether to raise, hire, build or buy cannot be answered by email — that depends on circumstances the model does not see, and getting it wrong is expensive. The simulator and the guides exist to help you reason about the trade-offs yourself, and any figure that matters should be checked with a qualified accountant before you act on it.
